The Diocesan Executive of the Association of Catholic Teachers as part of its Professional Development programme for the year has held a two-day workshop for Teachers preparing for promotion to various grades in GES.
Very experienced Retired Educationists; Mr. Edward Asakiya, Mr. Francis Agyeere and Mr. Francis Ayaaba; led by the Diocesan Education Committee Chairman, Mr. Paul Apanga schooled candidates on various issues in GES.
The workshop was held in the three Deaneries (Bolga, Navrongo and Bawku) for candidates numbering over 200 between 3rd and 7th June, 2019.
The facilitators held sessions for two-days each at Wiaga for the south western Parishes, and Zebilla for the North Eastern parishes on 3rd and 4th June, 2019.
Then on 6th and 7th June, 2019, sessions were held for Bolga Deanery and Navrongo Central Deanery.
The Diocesan President and team urged members to work towards creating an enviable level of competence to remain relevant and irreplaceable in the service ad society at large. Participating members were asked to support their community leaders to implement yearly activities to make the ACT active in the Dioces.
