The National Executives Committee (NEC) members of the Association of Catholic Teachers have held their first meeting after been elected into office some few months ago .
The meeting which was held at the SVD house in Accra was witnessed by the Episcopal Chairman of Education of the Ghana Catholic Bishops Conference and Archbishop of Catholic Archdiocese of Accra, Most Rev John Bonaventure Kwofie and the General Manager of Catholic Schools, Mrs Doris Ashun.
The meeting deliberated on many issues which included : the theme for the 2020, 2020 National Action Plan , the formation and inauguration of the national council of the association, partnership between the association and the Quality Life Assurance Company (QLAC), formation of various committees of the association at the national level and many others.
Some of the committees the meeting formed were : welfare, publicity , finance and audit .
Most Rev John Bonaventure Kwofie, commended the executives for their commitment to the association and entreated them to always work with the vision of the founders of the association so to help to promote holistic quality Catholic education.
