ACHHI-Ghana Supported Don Bosco Orphanage Home at Odomase

Sunyani(B/A) 13th April, 2021, ACT News- As part of their social services to the society , Members of the Association of Catholic Heads of Higher Institutions (ACHHI)-Ghana have paid a visit to the Don Bosco Orphanage at Odomase in the Bono Region.

They made donation of some assorted items to the inmates at the Don Bosco Orphanage. The items were included bags of rice, gallons of cooking Oils, Provisions and toiletries worth Thousands of Ghana Cedis and undisclosed amount of money.

Sr. Benedicta Uzokwe,(HHCJ), National President explained that the donation was their windows mite to support the upkeeping of the inmates and indicated that the association in the various regions would continue such homes in their regions.

Sr. Benedicta said that the donation also formed part of thanksgiving they were given to God for how far He has protected the association since its establishment about forty years ago,

In receiving the items on behalf of the inmates Fr Charles of the Salesian Congregation, expressed the inmates and managers of the home gratitude to the association members for the kind gesture they have made to support the training of the orphans.

He appealed to other organisations in the country to emulate what the ACHHI members had done so to keep the home function effectively and pledged that they would use the items for it intended purpose of donating. .
